This project in a single family house located on the slopes of Montseny was conceived from the first moment with the aim of providing maximum energy autonomy to the property.
The house has an annual consumption of more than 10,000 kWh/year and 15 kW of contracted power, and with the aim of achieving an optimal balance between investment cost, solar coverage and self-consumption, 24 BENQ 265W solar panels have been installed, a Fronius Hybrid three-phase hybrid inverter of 5 kW nominal and a Fronius Energy Package battery with a storage capacity of 12 kWh (9.6 kWh useful).
The system provides autonomy of more than 80% while allowing the contracted power to be significantly reduced.
The principle of operation is very simple; The energy generated in the solar panels is used primarily to power the instant consumption of the home; If solar production exceeds consumption, the excess energy is used to charge the batteries.
At the opposite extreme, if the energy demand of the house is higher than the instantaneous solar production, the battery will be in charge of supplying the remaining energy, and if even then it is not possible to power all the loads, then the network will electricity enters to provide a backup service complementing the energy necessary to satisfy the total demand of the home.
In addition, there is the possibility of limiting the amount of excess energy that is poured into the grid with the aim of not giving anything away to the state electrical system.... The system doesn't give us anything either!!
This entire system is perfectly monitored, allowing timely and clear monitoring via mobile phone or computer.
